My Candidacy
Children born today will retire in about 2070.
This is the first in what I hope will be a series of dialogues about education, community, and Edmonton Public Schools.
I live near George Luck School, so am a resident of Ward F as it will exist in the fall when new boundaries take effect. My husband and I have three adult children, all with families of their own. Our grandchildren give me an ongoing personal “stake” in teaching, learning, schools, and Edmonton Public in particular.
Having been a passionate educator my whole working life, I believe that education is the basis of our future well-being. An educated society is a healthy and prosperous society.
